ATE group launches Tourism Planning & Consultancy division at ITB Berlin
The Airtravel Enterprises Group formally launched its Tourism Planning and Consultancy Division, “Great India Tourism Planners and Consultants International” (GITPAC) at the ITB that concluded recently in Berlin. Ms. Meera Sankar IFS, Ambassador of India to Germany launched GITPAC by handing over its brochure to Mr. S. Bannerjee IAS, Secretary, Tourism, Government of India, in the presence of Dr.Venu V. IAS, Tourism Secretary (Government of Kerala). GITPAC International offers Planning and Consultancy services to the public and private sector in tourism with focus on sustainability and benefits to local Community. GITPAC also offers consultancy services on e-strategy and Marketing, and intends to build a Knowledge Centre in the tourism and travel
sector.
GITPAC is led by Mr. B.K.Goswami IAS (Retd) former Secretary Tourism Government of India as the Chairman, Mr. E.M. Najeeb, CMD, ATE Group of Companies as the Vice Chairman and Mr. U.V.Jose, Former Additional Director (Planning & Projects), Kerala Tourism as the Chief Operating Officer.
Dr. M.I.Sahadulla ,Chairman - KIMS Hospital , Mr. Rajan Thomas Varghese , Mr.V. Dandapani, Mr. Ross Masood and Mr. E.N.Zaheer are Directors of GITPAC .
Mr.E.M. Najeeb said that to supplement India’s fast growing tourism industry, organizations specializing in tourism-based services are the need of the hour and that was what led to the constitution of GITPAC. He added that with a panel of eminent consultants of national and international stature and backed by the strength of ATE Group’s 30 years industry experience, GITPAC is equipped to play a vital role in taking India’s Tourism initiatives to greater heights.|
